Nolann's Message
My name is Nolann Vermant. I'm from France, but I've been traveling the world since I was born. Along the way, I’ve picked up many different ways of speaking English, learning to adapt to each environment. This global journey has deeply shaped how I understand and use language.
I've been teaching English for the past two years. I started in an eikaiwa, where I worked with students of all levels, and later taught at a high school. I’ve also helped learners prepare for exams like EIKEN, IELTS, and TOEIC. My goal in every lesson is to help students express themselves with ease and confidence. I believe communication should feel natural and comfortable, not like walking on eggshells.
Because of my background, I'm especially interested in how English changes across cultures. Language isn't just rules - it's living, flexible, and personal. I try to bring that into my teaching by focusing on real communication over perfection.
Outside the classroom, I’m a musician - I play guitar, drums, and piano, and I perform in a band. Music is another language to me, and I think it shares a lot with how we communicate in words. I also have a big dream: one day I want to open a cooking school. That’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about teaching—I want to grow, share, and learn as much as I can from every experience.

こんにちは、みなさん！
ノラン・ヴェルマンと申します。フランス出身ですが、生まれてからずっと世界を旅してきました。その経験を通して、様々な英語の使い方や話し方を学び、環境に合わせて英語を柔軟に使う力が身につきました。
英語を教え始めてから2年になります。最初は英会話スクールで、年齢やレベルに関係なく多くの生徒さんとレッスンをしてきました。その後、高校でも教えました。これまでにEIKEN、IELTS、TOEICの対策も担当してきました。私のレッスンの目標は、英語で「自然に・安心して」自分の気持ちを表現できるようになることです。英語は完璧である必要はなく、伝わることが一番大切だと思っています。
旅を通じて得た経験から、文化によって変わる英語の面白さにとても興味があります。言語はただのルールではなく、生きていて、柔軟で、そして個人的なものだと思っています。だから、レッスンでは実際のコミュニケーションを大切にしています。
趣味は音楽で、ギター・ドラム・ピアノを演奏していて、バンドでも活動しています。音楽も一つの言語だと思っていて、言葉と同じように人と心を通わせる手段だと感じています。そして、将来的には料理学校を開きたいという夢があります。そのためにも、今できるだけ多く教え、たくさんの経験を積みたいと考えています。
